Maybe it’s uncomfortable for people to sort of "wrap their heads around" the thought of hydrogen actually being that "perfect fuel".  It has, after all, only really been utilized in industries and for products that we don’t generally pay much attention to in the way they were brought to the shelves perse.

Hydrogen also got a bad rap in 1937…1937! when it was mistakenly accused of a catastrophy it didn’t commit, thereby eclipsing what may have had the ability to save us all a lot of time and energy…literally. » Read more
